David is a solo practitioner with a focus is on real estate and criminal defense in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties of Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, and Delaware. Additionally, David is of counsel at Stern & Eisenberg, handling both transactions and litigation, connecting him to a wealth of resources and experienced senior counsel.


David offers legal services to real estate professionals, real estate investors, agents, and mortgage professionals, in all areas of real estate including compliance and financing. After two decades in lending, David has established an extensive real estate network with an understanding of the real estate industry enabling him to provide creative solutions. He has formed various business entities for real estate investors and manages the local closings for a private equity firm out of the New York City area. David has managed negotiations with homeowner and condo associations, as well as stalled foreclosures through loss mitigation plans. David litigates tax sales, post-closing disputes, ejectments, evictions, title actions, land disputes, partitions, and construction matters. He has successfully defended injunction petitions in common pleas courts, as well as appeals to the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. 


David is a passionate advocate for defendants facing criminal charges. He has experience with DUI/DWI, drug crimes, theft, burglary, PFA’s, forgery, probation violations, expungements, juvenile offenses, license suspensions, and traffic matters. Since 2018, David has worked as conflict cases for the Public Defender’s Office of the Montgomery County, with a relentless dedication to ensure the best possible outcome for every defendant. David is well-versed in a myriad of diversion programs, which help first-time offenders who are often struggling with addiction, to get the help that they truly need and put mistakes behind them. David has successfully defended students for alleged violations at the collegiate level. 


David has been active with the Montgomery Bar Association (MBA) since 2018. After completing a year-long project for the MBA Leadership Academy in 2021, David was appointed to the MBA Board of Directors. In 2023, David was appointed to the MBA Personnel and Salary Committee. Additionally, David provides pro bono legal services as a child advocate and guardian ad litem for the Montgomery County Child Advocacy Program.

With over two decades of experience in residential real estate lending, investing, and venture capital, David can provide insight based on personal experience through various market cycles. In 2001, David graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He navigated his way through the ever-changing lending market, which included the 2008 Housing Market Crash and the compliance-driven years following the passing of The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act in 2010. In 2012, David enrolled in an evening program at Widener University Delaware Law School.


When not practicing, David spends time with his wife Michelle and their three beloved cats. They are passionate animal lovers. Additionally, David enjoys fitness, golf, and snowboarding.
